Kayla Smith-Haynes

Kayla Smith-Haynes is a Staff Accountant at FPG Tax & Accounting with two years of experience in public accounting. She began her career with the firm as an intern in January 2024 and transitioned into a full-time position following the completion of tax season in April 2024. She earned a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Ottawa University in 2024, is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and is currently working toward obtaining her CPA license, demonstrating her commitment to continued professional growth.

At FPG Tax & Accounting, Kayla assists with the preparation of tax returns, bookkeeping, client accounting support, and small consulting projects, including sales tax and use tax filings. Her experience across a variety of accounting tasks has strengthened her attention to detail and accuracy, making her a valuable member of the team.

Outside of her professional life, Kayla enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, and spending time with her family and friends.
